Representative Transactions:

  • Counsel to a major investor-owned utility company in connection with its potential acquisition of multiple renewable energy assets across the United States
  • Representation of the developer in the development and negotiation of a comprehensive construction contract for the greenfield engineering, procurement and construction of a photovoltaic solar power generation facility in Southern California
  • Representation of a major independent energy company in the greenfield development of a 67 turbine (100 MW) wind farm in Pennsylvania
  • Representation of investor owned utilities in connection with the negotiation of PPAs vis-à-vis independent wind power developers
  • Representation of the developer in connection with the proposed private development of a 500 mile high-voltage transmission line in Nevada and Idaho
  • Representation of a utility in connection with its development of 32 mile high-voltage transmission line in Southern California
  • Representation of the "Anchor Shipper" for the Chinook Transmission Project, a 1,000 mile, 500 kV, direct-current merchant transmission line that will carry wind power from the Pacific Northwest to load centers in the West and Southwest.
  • Representation of a U.S.-based project development company in connection with its efforts to develop a 500 MW hydro-power facility in Nigeria
  • Representation of an independent energy company in EPC work for a 280 MW concentrated solar thermal project in Arizona
  • Representation of a major European wind project developer in its proposed development of a large wind farm in North Dakota
  • Representation of an independent power producer in connection with its acquisition of a majority interest in the 1,000 MW Alicurá hydroelectric facility, which was privatized by the government of Argentina, including negotiation of interim, non-recourse acquisition debt
  • Representation of an energy company in connection with the greenfield development of a 30 MW eucalyptus-fueled power generation facility in Hawaii
