Matthew Hashemi

Biography

Matthew (“Matt”) focuses his practice on representing utilities, contractors, and energy developers in construction project development and energy transactions. He has experience representing clients in energy project finance and development transactions, corporate structuring, and power project mergers and acquisitions. He has also assisted in drafting complex agreements, conducting real estate due diligence, and advising clients on request for proposal matters. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law where he served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law, President of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association, and a Student Attorney in the Corporate Counsel Externship Program and the First Amendment Clinic. In addition to his law degree, Matt holds an M.B.A. and a B.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
