  • Counsel to a major European power generation company in its negotiation and execution with a U.S.-based supplier of a ten-year take-or-pay contract for the cross-oceanic supply from the USA to the Port of Rotterdam, on a Cost-Insurance-Freight (CIF) (Incoterms 2010) basis, of 4 million tonnes of biomass wood pellets over a ten year period.
  • Counsel to a South Korean power generation company in the structuring of an RFP for, and the negotiation and execution with a Canadian-based supplier of, a ten-year cross-oceanic (CIF, Incoterms 2010) supply agreement for biomass wood pellets that to provide approximately 315,000 metric tonnes of wood pellets per year, which will serve as critical fuel for a 100 MW biomass power project in the Republic of South Korea.
  • Counsel to a Hawai’i-based developer in connection with project engineering, procurement and construction matters relating to the development of a 30 MW eucalyptus wood-fired renewable power generation facility.
  • Counsel to a developer of first-of-its-kind biomass gasification facility designed to produce 35 MW of power and 640 barrels per day of renewable synthetic fuels.
  • Counsel to a developer of 42 MW biomass gasification facility in Florida.
  • Counsel to an independent developer/owner in connection with operation and maintenance contract for a 20 MW biomass facility outside of Chicago, Illinois.
  •  Counsel to an international developer of biomass-fueled energy production projects.
